I was getting ready to go to the grocery store at WalMart and I stopped at my mom's. she came out in the yard and told me that someone had crashed a plane into the Twin Towers. I told her it must be a mistake and stayed at her house long enough to find out that it was an attack. I left for the store and turned on the radio then heard about the Pentagon. I began to be frightened then. In Walmart, I saw the Towers fall.
When my daughter came home from school, she said the school had made them cut all the tvs off and forbid her class to tell anyone what they'd seen. Her history class was watchng the morning news and just happened to see it.
What I remember most is that she was still here.

Blair Witch Project
I'd read that this was such a cool and scary movie that I thought why not? I don't normally watch horror movies but this one was billed as something really great done by film students.
Right!
I read a joke about it later that said they had a $10,000 budget and they spent $400 to rent a camera and $9600 on booze and drugs. I'd beleive it.
The movie was silly. The only thing the actors were capable of was saying the f word every other word and there was no story... well, maybe Hansel and Gretel. Most of the movie was various shots of the ground. The ground when they stood still, the ground when they ran... I told my daughter she should get the video cam and run in the woods for a bit and maybe we could sell it for thousands of dollars.
The theater was packed when we saw it and people actually stood up and booed at the end. I've never been a film that happened at before or since. It was stupid and a waste of time.

Um, what exactly is a juicy generalization?
And are you sure they're all completely false?
I'm too old for such silly babble. Next you'll tell me that they didn't remove Sarah Palin's brain to make her boobs bigger. Or that the Republicans health plan is more than just "stay healthy" or else. Sorry about the tangent but it's my post. ;)
