Alex's This and That

Of Elves and Men has been gone for about 3 years. It contained over 3000 works and many of them were not posted anywhere else. We changed the site over to a self upload in 2015, since everyone said they wanted that but everyone turned out to be mostly no one, so when my webhost began asking for several hundred dollars a month to keep the site up, I closed it.

I contacted Ao3 in 2019 about moving the site to Ao3 to preserve it as part of their Open Doors, which tried to preserve fandom. They started then sort of disappeared for more than a year. Evidently the person who had our account quit and in the last few months, we have gotten a new person and at the end of October, they will begin to import the work to Ao3.

If they have a usable email for you, they will probably contact you. If you know they don't have one, please follow the directions on these links and contact them.

I do hope that most of you will allow your work to be hosted at Ao3. There are a lot of good stories in the archive and I'd love to preserve them.
