I found this site via [personal profile] kara_mckay .  The site is [community profile] thefridayfive .

1. Do you make up a dinner plan for the coming week? No. we sort of have the same things from week to week – our favorites, usually.  It’s day to day. Id we know we're doing something special, we add the ingredients to the list.

2. Do you make up a shopping list and stick to it when shopping? We do make a list and we stick to it, for the most part.  We normally buy groceries at the Walmart Supercenter every 2 weeks.  I take the non-food list and hubby does the food. He calls me from the grocery section if he has questions.  We do add things now and then and no one gets mad with offlist additions..

3. What is one thing that you always buy, but never put down on a list? I don’t think there is a thing we do that with.

4. Is there anything that you always think you are out of and come home with it to discover you already have a year’s supply on hand? Cans of beans and soup. I tend to buy up things like lotions and body washes when I have coupons too.

5. Do you get your groceries delivered? I live in the rural south – no such thing though they do have an order ahead and pickup option at the local store now. I've not tried it yet.

This song simply resonates in my soul. Jimmy Buffet did a wonderful cover many years ago but this is the songwriter, Bruce Cockburn.

Here are the lyrics:
Sunset is an angel weeping
Holding out a bloody sword
No matter how I squint I cannot
Make out what it's pointing toward
Sometimes you feel like you've lived too long
Days drip slowly on the page
You catch yourself
Pacing the cage

I've proven who I am so many times
The magnetic strip's worn thin
And each time I was someone else
And every one was taken in
Powers chatter in high places
Stir up eddies in the dust of rage
Set me to pacing the cage

I never knew what you all wanted
o I gave you everything
All that I could pillage
All the spells that I could sing
It's as if the thing were written
In the constitution of the age
Sooner or later you'll wind up
Pacing the cage

Sometimes the best map will not guide you
You can't see what's round the bend
Sometimes the road leads through dark places
Sometimes the darkness is your friend
Today these eyes scan bleached-out land
For the coming of the outbound stage
Pacing the cage
Pacing the cage

OOH, another one! From [personal profile] kara_mckay - [community profile] questionoftheday

[community profile] questionoftheday asks: Apart from the internet/social media, what do you do in your free time?

My answer: I write and write and write. Fanfiction. When I'm not doing that, I hang out with my hubby - we watch lots of tv and love movies, dinner out, coffee at Starbucks.
