SUNSHINE

Mitchell woke up early, too early for his day off. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and it was only when he heard a groan behind him that he remembered that he wasn’t alone.

He put a hand to his face and closed his eyes. What in hell had he been thinking?

He remembered they all went out for dinner and drinks, lots of drinks. And he hadn’t come home alone. He remembered who’d come home with him.

“Wake up, Sunshine,” he called to his companion.

Jackson rolled over and covered his head with his pillow.
