Summary: Sam calls Jack.
MODERN COMMUNICATIONS
Sam Carter finished her report and signed it. She was heading out on the George S. Hammon as soon as she filed it.
She wondered what Jack was doing. Was he sitting in his office, bored to death? She pulled her phone out of her bag and scrolled through the numbers. When she came to Jack’s, she cleared the screen and put the phone away. She’d call him later.
With a sigh, she retrieved it and listened to an old voice mail from Jack; he was rambling about the the Simpsons.
She touched his number.
“Hello, it’s me,” she said.
