I think junk like 'you make your own luck' and nothing bad will happen if you read this book or that book is plain simple BULLS**T. Postive thinking is a good thing and will help you see the brighter side of life but it will NOT keep the bad away and anyone who thinks that is a fool.
Luck and curses are just silly as is most pop psychology.
