1. Every time you lick a stamp you consume 1/10 of a calorie.
2. South Dakota is the only U.S state which shares no letters with the name of its capital.
3. In the last 3,500 years, there have been approximately 230 years of peace throughout the civilized world.
4. The dot over a “j” or an “i” is called a “tittle.”
5. -40 Celsius and -40 Fahrenheit are the same temperature.
6. And the sleeve on the outside of a coffee cup is called a “zarf.”
7. You can't kill yourself by holding your breath.
8. Only one person in two billion will live to be 116 years old.
9. Thirty-five percent of the people who use personal ads for dating are already married.
10. A dime has 118 ridges around the edge.
