Summary: The age ends for the forest kings.

ERYN LASGALEN

Sauron had fallen. Celeborn and Thranduil met and divided Mirkwood forest. They renamed it Eryn Lasgalen.

“Now what?" Thranduil asked Celeborn.

“The Noldor will sail. Galadriel, Elrond will sail. I will stay here; I was born in this world and I shall stay.”

Thranduil and Celeborn built a fire and ate a dinner of lembas and shared a skin of wine.

Thranduil finally spoke. “I will stay too. My father gave me this land and these elves to care for.”

Celeborn nodded.

They finished their dinner and shook hands. They mounted their horses and rode away without a backward look.
