Trope meme – I am not tropey is the conclusion I’ve come to.

 

Slow burn OR love at first sight: Slow burn is okay as long as it doesn’t burn until I’m bored to tears and move along to something less annoying. Love at first sight is more aptly called a zipless F**k and they’re okay as well. So I have no actual preference. Writing - I prefer the zipless variety.

Fake dating OR secret dating: NO. Too silly.

Enemies to lovers OR best friends to lovers: Best friends to lovers, I think. I don’t like bad guys.

Oh no there's only one bed OR long distance with correspondence: Since long distance correspondence offers 0 interest to me and I do love silly one bed tropes, I’ll choose only one bed.

Fantasy au OR modern au: Again, no. I read fandoms because fandom.

Smut OR fluff: I like fluff and smut both. I don’t need 500 pages of story either. Give me the love.

Mutual pining OR domestic bliss: Both and neither. I like get-togethers and I like established love ones too.

Alternate universe OR future fic: Maybe futurefic but then again, alternate endings are also good.

One shot OR multi-chapter: One chapter even if it’s long because there’s a good chance I’ll never come back.
