Day 7 - Saturday's Personality

There was once a young man from privilege and money who was handsome and well educated. He became an actor and he played a beloved superhero. He hobnobbed with the rich and famous, married a lovely woman and had a son. One awful day in 1995, he had an accident while playing polo. He became a paraplegic and he became a real life superhero when he became an advocate for people with disabilities and for research on spinal cord injuries. He died in 2004 of complications of an infection. His legacy lives on in his son and the work he did to make the world a better place.

His name was Christopher Reeve.
