Blackbeard's ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge was found several years ago and there is an exhibit of pieces of the ship and many, many artifacts as well as several education programs on the pirate himself and the salvage operation itself at the North Carolina Maritime Museum in the historic and quite lovely town of Beaufort, NC. The artifacts are fascinating and I think they give a real glance at life in the early 18th century.
North Carolina's Beaufort, by the way is pronounced bow-fort.
