CONUNDRUM
Jackson was reading a book written in one of the Ancient language when Vala breezed into the room and sat on his desk, crossing her legs.
“What is it now, Vala?” He didn’t bother to look up at her.
“Let’s go to dinner. Or the movies, Or for a walk. Or anything.”
“Can’t you see I’m busy?”
“I can but I’m bored.”
“Go bother Mitchell.”
“Not here. Out on a date.”
“Landry? Teal’c?”
“Not here. Landry is with his ex-wife and Teal’c’s gone to the movies with Dr. Lam.”
Daniel sighed. “Chinese or Mexican?”
“Chinese. We had Mexican last weekend.”
