DANIEL’S SURPRISE

Daniel noticed that Vala had been hanging out with Mitchell a lot lately. The odd thing was that it made him feel something that he didn’t expect.

Jealousy.

He could have sworn that he really didn’t care much for Vala. He was sure that he couldn’t care for anyone else since he lost Sha’re all those years ago.

But he did care. He remembered how she’d felt in his arms when she’d lost her memory, how badly it had hurt to watch her suffer with the Ori.

“Vala! Wait up,” he called as he got up and went after her.
