#4 Chocolate
Mar. 4th, 2011 04:30 pmToday’s word is chocolate… I went to a random word generator and that was the FIRST word that came up!
Chocolate is the true gift of the Americas. It came from central and South America originally though it is now grown predominantly in Africa. Moist chocolate contains very small amounts of lead since the countries that produce it still use leaded fuels and the lead is absorbed from the air.
It’s good for your heart and mood though too much will make you fat… and happy maybe.
According to Wikipedia and a BBC study, “melting chocolate in one's mouth produced an increase in brain activity and heart rate that was more intense than that associated with passionate kissing, and also lasted four times as long after the activity had ended.”
Chocolate comes in all sorts, from cheap chocolate kisses to expensive Belgian chocolates. I personally like the softer chocolates and I prefer milk chocolate to dark chocolate. The only Belgian chocolates I’ve had were almost sickeningly sweet and sugary. On the other hand, I’ve had some dark chocolates that were almost as bitter as eating plain cocoa powder.
Maybe even better than candy is cake… a good chocolate cake is one of life’s true pleasures. Here is a page dedicated to chocolate and it has a bunch of cake recipes:

I want chocolate NOW!!!
