Summary: Gibbs hopes he hasn’t hurt Abby too badly.

CONSEQUENCES

The worst thing about it all was that Abby knew he killed Hernandez out of revenge. He’d never really cared much what other people thought but Abby wasn’t other people. Everything about her was special, especially to him. He poured himself another bourbon and began sanding.

First thing the next morning, he went down to Abby’s lab, grabbing a Caff-Pow on the way. He knew she’d see the drink as the gift it was.

“She smiled at him though she looked worried. “What can I do for you, Gibbs?”

“I wanted to see if you’re okay.”

He looked into her eyes and saw that they were the same. She understood and didn’t think less of him. Everything was going to be all right.

“I’m fine, Gibbs, just fine.” She gave him a big hug and he knew that it was all right. He was surprised at how relieved he was.

Today I have spent in PJs. I have been completely lazy for the last few days. Not sure why. But I have managed to read and comment on The Silmarillion, my Sherlock Holmes reading group, The Charioteer reading and my B5 rewatch group. I've written a few more drabbles and farmed a LOT on FB. Wheee!

I am enjoying The Silmarillion reading. I still think it makes more sense when you listen than when you read. I even read some out loud to luin77 one day since she didn't have an English version, which she does now! I'd like to do The Children of Hurin next. I've not read it yet. Have any of you?

Well, I need to go and grab a shower then make some dinner in a while. Getting tired of cooking so much. I just want...I dunno! Something different!
