Yeah, sort of. I could care less about the football but hubby makes chili and it's really good. I'll really be doing some reading and preparing for a read of The Silmarillion that OEAM's Tolkien reading group is doing.

JUST GROW UP

Her jaw dropped. There was not one spot in the room that wasn’t covered with food or drink. Green leaves were dripping from the curtains, fruit was splattered all over the walls and red wine dripped from the crystal chandelier to the white tablecloth below.

She looked around the empty room. The absence of elves told her all she needed to know about who the culprits were. She’d surely be glad when they stopped doing things like this! The only quiet moments in the house were when they were asleep.

“Elladan! Elrohir! Come to the dining room this instant!”

“Yes mother?” Celebrian’s adult sons came up on either side of her. “Did we do something to upset you?”

She put an arm around each one of them and sighed. “Are you ever going to grow up?”

She got a kiss on each cheek. “Why would we want to do that?”

Nablopomo #6

Okay, so the foot is better and my stomach is all to hell over the meds for the gout. I've felt like crap for a week and 2 days now... Argh! I need a vacation from my horrid ailments! Losing weight has not helped at all... well, I take that back. I can sleep some now without the apnea machine! Makes for nice sofa naps.

Hopefully I will feel a bit more human this coming week. I need to write a bunch more drabbles and I need to get out of the house!!!

Off to work on The Silmarillion!
