LOVE THE ONE YOU’RE WITH

Cameron Mitchell had been mortified when Vala had gone home with him to his class reunion and told his mother they were lovers. They weren’t then but that hadn’t mattered to Vala. She was just having fun, being away from Stargate Command and acting like a normal person. She didn’t mean any harm at all.

Now things were different and she still managed to terrify him. Jackson had acted like an ass toward her yet again. She acted like it didn’t matter but Cam had followed her to her quarters and found her crying her eyes out. He’d gathered her up in his arms and eventually one thing had led to another and he’d woken up in her bed this morning.

Damn Daniel Jackson! He knew Jackson loved her even if Daniel was too stupid to know. She knew it too. That was why his rejection hurt her so much.

“I won’t tell them, you know.” He hadn’t even noticed she was awake until she spoke. She was lying on her side, looking at him, smiling as she gently touched his face.

“I don’t mind. I figured that you might not want Jackson to know.”

She grinned. “He had his chance, Cameron. Besides, you’ll blush like a girl when they find out and I can’t wait to see that.”

He pulled her into his arms. “You might be more trouble than you’re worth, Vala Mal Doran.”

“You have no idea,” she replied then they said nothing more for quite awhile.
