The state of me
Dec. 18th, 2009 05:36 pmBeen Awol most of the week with frakking gout again! Blargh!
I did finish my
scifibigbang story. Go read it Here. I am very pleased with it.
I also got my Yuletide story done today. It is not very long but mine never are. I found this challenge, well, challenging but I managed it. Go me! It's on its way to
larian for beta and to
luin77 just because! ;)
I received my Slashy Santa Valentine assignment this week too. I also have my assignment for
elvses Elf Genfic thingiemabob. I do have a tiny fic to do for someone first though!
The cat never returned home so we assume she went away and died somewhere. It's crappy to lose a pet and not know what happened to her.
I've got all my shopping and wrapping done. Cards are sent and so are packages. All I need is some bread and veggies for our Christmas Eve dinner next Thursday and I'm set.
It's snowing like crazy here. I'd say we've got 4-5 inches and will get at least than many more. I know that isn't much to you westerners and northerners but here, it paralyzes everything. We don't have much snow clearing equipment and they never get out until the snow is over to plow and such which can make for cabin fever. We've got plenty of food and good tv and movies as long as we have electricity. If it goes out, then we'll probably have someone with a 4-wheel-drive come get us and move us to warmer surroundings.
Anyhow, happy weekend to all!
