Vacations and stuff
Sep. 21st, 2009 11:21 amWe went to the beach last week for the first time since Sara died and it was also our first real vacation since 2006 when we spent a week with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
larian in Deadwood. I was less able to do things because I simply cannot walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time but still it was nice. Our condo was on the oceanfront so the view was wonderful and we could sit out and feel the sea air anytime. We did a lot eating... fish, pizza, fish, chinese, fish... you get the drift. We ate dinner one evening at this lovely place called Drunken Jack's and drinks and food were great! (http://www.drunkenjacks.com/). I drank something called Voodoo Juice that was very YUMMY! We had lunch with some old friends of Larry's one day at a place called The Conch Cafe and I ate a fish taco that was perfect! (http://www.conchcafe.net/). So now we're back home with a mountain of laundry and unpacking to do plus all the junk we got behind on for a week. Oh well, we don't go away often soooo.

scifibigbang fic but I've got a long way to go. Larian has already begun to beta what I have...which will give me more time to write and her less work to beta all at once. I also have a B5 short fic to post this week and a tiny SPN thing to type up. I actually want to write some short stories so I want to get this 25000 word thing out of the way!
Restaurant City at Facebook has eaten my brain! I can't stop playing! It's ALL Larian's fault too! I even love to go to random restaurants and pick up apple cores and soda cans for extra points! If you're at FB and want to try it, let me know and I'll invite you! It is tons of fun! I also have two farms! I grow cows and crops!
