"Ninety percent of the game is half mental."

After working too hard and worrying too much, we had a lovely cook out with Larry's band family yesterday. I got to know some of them better and got to spend some funtime with the ones I knew plus my Aunt Janie came too. The band played at a 4th of July celebration in a neighboring community last night and their fireworks show was wonderful. It took me back to my childhood when Mama and Daddy would take me to the county fair and we'd see the fireworks show at the end of the evening.

I finally found a plot for my AIA story while in the shower this morning. My prompt actually had the entire plot... leaving nothing really to write. But I came up with something. Now to begin work on it.

I got my TDD fic done and my Aragorn/Legolas swap done too. All I have to do is post/send them. Yay! Thanks, Larian!

This week I plan to begin the tedious and annoying job of settling my mom's estate. She had a will and it's somewhere in this darned cave of a house but we cannot find it. We know what it said and I am her only heir so maybe it won't be too difficult. We dealt with the Clerk of Court's office when Sara died though, and they all share about a half a brain. I am not optimistic.

I'm going to pile up in my bed and watch my rewatches today... SG-1, B5 anyway. I already caught up on Farscape.
