Hello there

I am back from the land of... the dead. After 6 weeks in the hospital, I am home finally. I arrived home on Friday and Larry and I have spent the last few days tidying up and getting used to being home again.

I am weak... very weak and really am homebound right now mostly due to what I loving refer to as 'the big gaping hole', a 9 inch incision down the front of me that is left to heal more or less on its own (well, Larry dresses it twice a day and home health care checks on it).

I am walking again after 30+ days of being confined to the bed and literally unable to walk. I have to use a walker right now but I don't think that will be a very long term thing. I had to go to rehab to learn to walk again at all so I consider myself lucky.

I want to thank you all. So many of you sent gifts and cards and well wishes... so many! I love you all and thanks God for all of you! Larry would bring the posts and notes that larian collected and sent to the hospital for me to read, along with tiny little anime-ish action figures to protect me. luin77 sent lovely long letters packages and called me every chance she got. jaiden_s and phyncke also sent goodies. Sarah kept the lovely postcards from Alaska coming, along with her prayers. ALL of you made me feel loved and needed and some days, I really needed that.

Now I'm off to read 1300 emails! :)

OOOH and spacebee and Larian and Luin sent me a bear! He's gorgeous~! :) I think of snuggling you all when I hug him!
