Summary: Elrond gets a surprise!

LITTLE BAKERS
Elrond walked into the small kitchen in the family wing of the huge house. Even though they took most of their meals in dining room with the other residents, there were times when he or Celebrían wanted to cook their own food.
The mess that greeted him was beyond belief. There was flour all over every surface in the room, even some on the ceiling. Eggs and shells were splattered on both cabinets and floors. There were puddles of milk here and there. Every bowl and pan in the entire room was piled on the table and each one was dirty.
As his eyes panned the room, they rested upon two things even more disastrous looking than the room. Those two things were elves, small elves who looked almost alike. In front of them was a plate with a layer cake, each layer precariously balancing on the one below it. Chocolate icing dripped over it and off the edge of the plate. They both had huge smiles on their icing covered faces.
“Happy birthday, Papa!” They said it in unison as their mother joined them. Elrond was speechless as he hugged them and then they cut his wonderful birthday cake.
