I am puzzled
Oct. 8th, 2006 12:54 amLast night, I watched Battlestar Galactica, two long painful hours of it. I have also watched two long painful seasons of it. And every single week, I say that I am not going to watch it again. Then I do.
The thing is: I do not like the show. I think it is melodrama at it's worst. I hate the gratutious sex in it. It has NO sense of humor about itself. The only character I remotely like is Adama, the elder, and I do not find any of the characters attractive. Lucy Lawless loses all of her appeal as a washed out blond.
I thought about it a lot last night and today and decided that watching that show is something akin to going to see a train wreck. You don't really want to see something awful but some morbid curiosity compels you to go look anyway.
The worst part is: There is a good chance I will watch it again next week. Argh!
