Day 5 - Baby, It's cold outside!
It could snow tomorrow but it's not supposed to last long. So far, they've missed every time this winter so I'm thinking this one could be a blizzard!
Larry had to go to the eye Doc at the VA today so I went along to shop. I got Lydian some pants at Target and a MLPony set for cheaper than Walmart sells them! I got her a book about Jack and the Beanstalk since she had never heard the story. I got some sekrit things for Jenny and some magazines and a book for me at B&N. I stopped at Catherines and got 2 pricy but pretty shirts for 35% off plus 10 bucks off that. Yay for bargains.
Over at FB, Shina posted this quote today :
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things. Of shoes and ships and ceiling wax, of cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings. Caloo! Calay! No work today! We're cabbages and kings!" from Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.
ON May 31, 2005, Sara and I went to Winston for her dermatologist's appt. and she bought this at Borders. She told me she wanted me to drive home and she read aloud from it in a British accent all the way home. The book is still laying on her bed where she left it. Odd how many things stand out in my mind to this day about those last few weeks.
Time for a little Cameron Mitchell and hopefully to sleep and not to dream.
