Okay, so I have interacted with several folks. A new person had friended me and I am beta reading for a person I did not know as well. Go me!
I have met a few of my DW friends here at this challenge or gotten to know them better here as well as seeing some old friends again. I live in a rural area and have no real friends nearby - it's just me and hubby so my internet friends and fellow fandom folk are quite important to me. Snowflake makes it easier to meet a few new people every year.

One thing I really love about the new challenge #1 is that I keep learning new things even about people I've had friended for a while!
I also live in a rural area and while I've discovered some fandom folk who live 'nearby', that generally means at least an hour drive. *g* So yeah, it's all about online interaction.
