HELP!

I am desperate for some help. We need a new host for OEAM - not Aplus because we already tried there.

I need someone to move the site for me...I hate to let it die but I have no choice if I can't find somewhere new to put it. Lunarpages is trying to sell us an expensive plan by threatening to shut us down and I fear that will happen soon as we already went through all this one time.

If you can help, let me know ASAP.

Would Archive of Our Own be an option? They've saved quite a few old fanfic archives by importing them into a collection.

I don't know if I want to do that or not - it may be our only options and if Lunarpages shuts us down, we may not even have that one. I cannot download a backup of it.

It might be worth contacting AO3 Open Doors anyway. They might be able to help getting a backup since they've imported so many different kinds of archives.

It may come to that. What I need is for someone to move the site we have to a new host. We tried one that didn't work out for some reason and I am trying to get in touch with the person who did the conversion to a self upload for us.

How much money are they asking for? I'm sure I'd be happy to contribute & other people in fandom would too. That would give you some time to consider your options, at least.

They want $40 a month at least. Not in my budget. If we can find a new place to put it, it shouldn't cost more than $200 a year. We tried APlus but tallulahred could never get it loaded there. I know there are some other sites that host e-fiction well but I don't know what they are.

And I know nothing about actually moving it.
