Day 31 - You know you're a Tolkien fan if...
1. You throw your wedding ring in the fire to see if it has Elvish writing on it.
2. You buy the bookmark with the one ring on it, and put it on a chain, and keep it hidden under your shirt, and whenever it accidentally comes out, you look around scared, and quickly hide it.
3. You address everyone you love by the name of "Precious".
4. You know Elvish.
5. You kill a common house spider and then exclaim to your friends that you just defeated Shelob.
6. You stare into your bird bath trying to see things that were, things that are, and things that have not yet come to pass.
7. The weather man says smog is coming in from the east you say "Nonsense, there hasn’t been a dragon in these parts for over a thousand years!"
8. You get tremendously indignant when people refer to Santa's little helpers as Elves.
9. You wish your house had a round front door.
10. You debate whether half elves had pointed ears.
If you do any of those things, you’re in good company!
