Day 10

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.


1. I would love to see artwork from any of my stories, especially Lord Celeborn’s Book though maybe not as graphic as the pictures in the book. Check out http://www.ofelvesandmen.com/StoriesbyAuthor/A/Alex1.htm and https://archiveofourown.org/users/alexcat/works
for many of my works.

2. Icons and banners from said works as well.

3. I’d love to see some Sherlock icons – any Sherlock at all!

I wish I could do artwork and banners but I am not artistic at all, definitely do not take after my mother who can draw, paint, sketch the most beautiful pictures :(

Have I mentioned how I love your icon though, I could just see the same icon with the city of Atlantis (as in Stargate Atlantis) in the background, just wish I knew how!!!

It has always reminded me of Atlantis as well. I can put words on an icon but as for blending and such... I am totally clueless. I know some icon makers and I'll ask around and see if any of them could make us one with Atlantis in the background.

Thank you for both your email. I love that authors write because they want to write and not because they are particularly concerned about feedback, but it always worries me that if authors don't think that they are being read that they will, in the end, either not put their stories up at a public site, or that they won't get publicised, which would be a real shame.

I have found many new authors through the LJ Newsletters for example, but if these didn't exist I would miss all sorts of wonderful stories and new authors.

I have to admit A03 is growing on me. I had to open an account to take part in the recent Hawaii Five-0 Christmas exchange and have started uploading some of my other stuff there too, I didn't realise it had an inbox which makes it easier to interact with people too.

I didn't realise you liked Stargate too, it would be so cool to have an icon like that with Atlantis in the background *hugs* I have no idea how to do anything with an icon, the ones I've 'made' myself have simply been cropped photos!
