CHANGING TIMES
Gimli watched Legolas braid his hair as they sat by the riverbank, remembering how revolted he’d been the first time he’d watched. He’d wondered how anyone could find such flamboyance beautiful. He’d preferred the sensible looks of a dwarf.
Now he thought the elf was – what did he think of the elf?
He wanted to spend time with him, to explore with Legolas, wanted to the elf to appreciate the caves and mines that his people had built. He was even willing to explore Fanghorn Forest with Legolas.
“May I help?” he asked as he took the comb from Legolas.
