phyncke brought up an interesting point. 'Alright' is listed in some dicitonaries as a word now since it is commonly used. I still don't consider it a word. But that is my opinion.

Having said that, are other words that have evolved from non-words to words or new words of questionable roots that you can think of? I love words!!!
