I'm sorry but I really don't see why anyone would move to Dreamwidth. Or any of the other 'wannabes'. Sorry but those are simply a waste of time. You can disable most of this FB junk on Lj and as I read it, most of the fluffup is simply hysteria on the part of LJ users and a big FAIL! at explaining on LJ's part. The way I understand it, if someone posts a comment to FB, it will NOT post your locked post, comment or whatever if you've disabled that option. The only thing visible at FB will be the person's comment, period. The FB and Twitter things are greyed out since I opted out at the beginning. I can't choose them without changing my settings... so I seriously don't see why all the frakking drama.
