Interesting...
I find it interesting how many people in the last day have posted about politics. Most on my flist don't usually post much about such things.
I do know there are some in fandom who can't seem to help themselves... they post about life in America and American politics though none of them actually live in the US. I disregard what they say altogether.
Myself, I am not sure what I think. I intensely dislike McCain. He is old and has used being a POW as his trump card so many times that he's an insult to Vietnam Vets in my mind. He has never had to go out and find health insurance and has no concept of how tough that is becoming in the US. He made a comment that the solution was that people should take care of themselves. WTF?
I know little about his running mate, Sarah Palin, but it rather frightens me that she could easily become president with her inexperience.
Obama is... what is he? He talks a good show anyway. But he seems to have too many faces. He is, in the words of my mom, just a little too slick. I am not sure where he stands on the problem of health care and health insurance either and for me, this is my issue. I am not sure I'd want to vote for him either, to be honest.
I know little to nothing about Biden, other than he ran for president before.
While not a fan Hillary Clinton, she does have experience and I think she might would have made a pretty good president. Her ambition is the only thing I dislike about her but even that could be a good thing.
Oh well, maybe, like some other flisters, I'll do a write in. Jack Sparrow? Frodo? Hmmmm.
