DEFINING DANIEL
“So how many times have you died, Jackson?” Cam asked as he sipped the barely drinkable coffee in the conference room.
Daniel looked a bit surprised but after he thought for a moment, he answered, “Technically, let’s see. I ascended two, or was it three, times. I’m not even sure anymore, Cam.”
“And the people of Abydos thought you were a god?”
“Well, technically sort of, um, yeah, I guess they did.”
“You do know that you’re a legend here for those things?”
Daniel laughed. “You mean I’m a strange, geeky freak that no one understands?”
“Well, yeah, that too.”
