wheeee... home!~
Well, we got home from Columbia. I spent the last day hanging around the Hampton Inn, reading and peoplewatching. I was so ready to go when Larry got in from work!
The weather had been pretty nice all week up until yesterday and it was HOT. The humidity rose and it was miserable! We went to bed when we got in from Larry's music practice last night and unloaded the car this morning. I have the first of my 5 loads of laundry in the washer and junk all over. I guess I'll try to put some of it away during the day.
I met Larry's new business associate. He and Larry have known each other for about 20 years but we'd never met. He's a nice guy. We had dinner with him every night and we all spent quite a lot of time together.
I read The Harlequin and All Together Dead this week and enjoyed both. I liked this Anita Blake book much better than the last several. It actually had a plot. I didn't care for the typos... where on earth are the proofreaders and editors? I really liked the Sookie Stackhouse too... I like her better than Anita, much better. Her boys are not quite as hot though! ;)
To Jenny and Sarah, I could not find a postcard anywhere in Columbia... not much to see where I was! There will be more local ones on the way to you soon, Sarah! OOh Larian, I've missed you this week! Maybe I can call this weekend!
That's about all I know right now!~
