The Darrell Scott thing and some BS on my part

The speech is accurate but the surrounding info is wrong.

I believe the actual point of separating church and state was to protect freedom of religion anyway. Freedom was not to have a state religion as most early Americans' homelands had.

I have no problem with a moment of silence... BUT I do not believe that prayer in school would have stopped Columbine or VA Tech.

Parents are sometimes the last to know. We do not see our children as they are sometimes. It does not mean that we don't care or we don't love them. It means that there is a gulf between many parents and children that is a natural thing when young people get old enough to begin separating from their parents.

I believe that we as a society and as individual human beings owe it to our children and everyone's children to think before we make other people feel like pariahs and outcasts and worthless human beings. You never know if the kid you ridicule will be a genius who saves the world or one who kills 32 of his professors and classmates.
