Summary: Nathaniel becomes angry… Jason is wrong.

FACETS
“Hydra-headed?” Jason looked at him, stunned. Then he began to laugh. “You’ve been reading the dictionary again, haven’t you?”
Nathaniel was angry, as angry as he ever remembered being. He didn’t know exactly what had come over him since that ‘thing’ with Anita and Damian.
“What’s wrong with that? I didn’t grow up like you. I’m not a college boy like you!” He spat the words not two inches from Jason’s face. He growled. Jason growled back, not terribly intimidated, but intrigued by the wereleopard’s fury.
Nathaniel hit him, hard. All that work in the gym made him strong, very strong. Jason doubled over in pain and surprise.
Nathaniel wrapped his arms around Jason and helped him to the sofa.
“Oh, god, I’m so sorry… Jason, oh damn…” Nathaniel was near tears.
“It’s not that bad. I’ll live!” It wasn’t. He’d have a bruise but he’d be all right. Jason pulled Nathaniel into his arms, kissed his cheek. “I’m sorry. I had no right to tease you. What does it mean anyway?”
Nathaniel told him.
Jason smiled and hugged the wereleopard sitting on his lap. “You mean like our life here with Anita and the vampires?”
“Exactly!” Nathaniel finally smiled.
