Movies I've seen recently
You all know that it takes like the worst movie on earth for me not to like it... like Blair Witch
Project or Hannibal.
So here are my little reviews for what they're worth:
(do contain some spoliers)
The Aviator- I liked this one much more than I thought I would. I like Leo, have always liked Leo and thought he was convincing as Howard. The one who stole the show was Cate Blanchett as Katherine Hepburn. She was magnificent! The ending was sad as Howard begins his slide into insanity.
Hitch- As cute as Will Smith can be, which is really cute. And Kevin James is one of the Love Doctor clients... a nice over weight man who fall in love with a pretty movie star...and is not made fun of because of his weight. I like that.
Constantine- Well, I have to be honest. I could be perfectly happy watching the lovely Mr. Reeves sit in a chair for two hours. I liked it... Keanu, Lucifer... what more can a person ask for. It was a nice actiony film... not too bloody and gory. I'm ont really sure why it was rated R. The visits to hell were a bit disconcerting.
A Home at the End of the World- An odd, odd film with Colin Farrell. It's a love story of sorts and a sad one. Colin is quite cute. This is the movie that they cut a full frontal shot from because it distracted the test audience. I liked it... made me cry.
