Tell Us about a Personal Win.


This one is hard - always is. The last year has been a S**T year. No real reason - the pandemic is mostly over and I'm still standing but the last few years have cost me a LOT. Cancer twice, lost my last close family, hubby had a stroke, have two almost unusable knees.

BUT
The win is I'm still here. I haven't given up, I haven't quit and to borrow an old country saying - I'm still full of piss and vinegar and ready to fight. I'm writing, I'm crocheting, I'm getting out now and again, I'm getting one knee replaced, I'm going to Spain to visit my best friend, I'm going to get the other knee replaced. I am still cancer free. So go me!

Yeah that's a lot of hard right there but you have a lot of fight in you and look at those fun things you have lined up, well Spain. Knees are less fun but worth it in the long run

Spain sounds like so much fun. I’m sure you’ll have a good time. I’m so glad you beat cancer, twice. Thank God. But I’m sorry for your family losses. Is your hubby doing all right now? I wish him fast recovery.

I didn't realize that you had had cancer. Me too. You sound as though you have a splendid attitude. Piss and vinegar are essential in the fight.

You're lucky to have a husband. I miss mine.
