My newest thing is not fandom-y. I have returned to crocheting after a many years hiatus. I have discovered the joy of Youtube tutorials and am making all sorts of things: throw blankets, shawls, ponchos, hats and beanies, gloves, dishcloths and more.

These are all so lovely! The hat and the blanket look so cosy :D
I'm more of a knitter. I keep trying to go back to crochet (I did it for a while decades ago) but I can't get the tension right and give up frustrated. But you can make so many cute things so every now and again I try crocheting again. I'll get there!

I tend to randomly drop stitches when trying to knit but like you said about crocheting, I'll get there. Thanks for your kind words.
