So here is the trolling

Hubby says it's a Russian troll - you will notice how they manage to slide into white supremacy and sexism. The entire review stream is there... good and bad. It quickly escalates from anything at all to do with the story to right-wing bullshit.

I have since deleted much of the crap.

Please do feel free to read the story. Yes, Steve does leave Nat - but it says in the pairings that there is a Steve Rogers/OFC in the story.

I did not like this story. Nothing, beyond the Moonboard. Steve never seems to care about Natasha or help her. He becomes a counselor for people who lost families, friends, lovers, etc. But he doesn't advise Natasha on anything, and he leaves her rotting alone in the Avenger compound. He is a disgusting and despicable character. I don't know how Natasha still sees him as good, despite how broken she was, and how Steve dumped her because she couldn't have sex with him. Steve's sexist, misogynistic and chauvinistic point of view in this story is disgusting.
He talks about Natasha being the "love of his life" of him, but he didn't hesitate to leave her for another woman, weeks after moving out of the complex, without even telling Natasha; the same day he met another woman who has sex with her, and in no time he begins to have feelings for this Emily, but he continues to "love" Natasha. Bullshit. And this Natasha must be so depressed and with such little dignity that she visits Steve in the apartment with his new girlfriend, to give him her congratulations, and says goodbye with Steve kissing her on impulse, only to let her go and then have sex with Emily. Disgusting. A pity that this Natasha values herself so little, that she is satisfied with a scum like this Steve Rogers.
little, that she is satisfied with a scum like this Steve Rogers.
At least, in the canon MCU there were not those kinds of feelings but platonic ones. And worse, that an attempt to try to stay strictly attached to the canon, they made this Steve look worse, they make me value Steve Rogers who went back to the past to be with Peggy, despite the fact that it was silly, to abandon all the development that he had in the MCU. Compared to this Steve, that canon MCU is a saint. Why would Natasha choose to live in the past? What reason does she have for Steve to rule her life and separate her from her family that are the Avengers, including Clint and her nephews? What about Yelena too? Bad bad. Not even Natasha has an agency or a choice in the matter and it looks like kidnapping.

The author did not ask for criticism and this comment isn't constructive in the least. You do realize that not all fic will suit your taste, right? Hitting the back button or not leaving a comment are options. Fanfiction is written free of charge by people in their spare time. If you don't like what you are reading just leave. Find a fic you do like. Comment there so that that author will be inspired to write more.

In the first place, that is not your business and do not get involved in what matters to you. Second, this is a public website, so anyone can comment what they want. Third, that is the merit only of the writer who wants to answer or not. I do not believe that he has a weak character, to let others of weaker character defend him. Fourth, because of people from Social Justice Warrior like you, who believe they have the right to come and bother others, conflicts always start. Fifth, just as there are many stories to read-I don't need an antifa like you to force me to go read somewhere else, if I don't want to-there are also many comments from many people who want to comment on what they want. So mind your own business - it's not pretty when you are 'forced' either, is it? -

lol, my dude, hate to break it to you, but... you're a bad person.
kindness costs you nothing. keeping your mouth shut costs you nothing. this? this is you being awful for no reason other than the fact that you can, because for some reason you think it makes you a superior human.
spoiler alert! it does not! it just makes you intolerable!
also, let's just quickly discuss--
Fourth, because of people from Social Justice Warrior like you, who believe they have the right to come and bother others, conflicts always start.
my dude. my dude. do you not see... how you literally... came and bothered others first??? there's no way you don't see that, right? you have to see that.
anyway, next time, simply consider: not insulting something that someone put time and effort into because it wasn't your preferred fic style. nobody made you read this, my dude. if you didn't like it, you could have stopped at any time.

Antifa = fascist. That we already know what both are, as well as I do not have to feel forced by force, to go to another place that I do not want to go, as well as I have the right to comment. I did not like the story, I express it as it is, that the author does not agree, that he does it. He doesn't need ass licks, they don't even know him to do his dirty work for him. If you do not like my comments, then you can still hold on, you can leave, I will not forcibly give my opinion or be threatened to retract just to make others feel good. Bad person? I do not remember killing someone, or abusing someone, I have not even killed animals, but I am already a "bad person" in the eyes of these Anglo-Saxons. But people like you, it is clear the type of victimization mentality that the NPC has in the United States today.

wow! let's take this point by point!
1. antifa is literally short for "anti-fascist," so categorically, that's wrong. good start!
2. "I will not forcibly give my opinion" you're literally doing that, my dude. that's the whole problem. also, sincerely nobody has asked you to retract this. we're just telling you it's bad.
3. it is absolutely wild that you think murder and animal abuse are the only things that can make you a bad person. just absolutely wild.
4. Anglo-Saxons? is that. is that... some kind of insult? that's a new one on me, my dude, that calling someone a term for the historical denizens of the UK is now an insult. gonna have to go back to the drawing board on that one, i think, because that doesn't make a lick of sense.
5. you sure do have the right to share your thoughts, but the ability to do something doesn't mean it's a good idea!
6. you don't seriously think you're a PC in this scenario, do you, internet troll?

For rabble like you, who are not even the authors of this story, they behave with such fervor that they should buy an ointment. I am not to blame for hurting their feelings, least of all people who call me a "bad person" just for giving a criticism. Whatever the way it is, I don't see how it is comparable to raping, killing, torturing, mistreating, etc. I do not know what concept the NPCs of the United States have, or of Anglo-Saxon speech, which I see they need more studies, and not those that dictate the left-handed ideology of their countries. All the comments have passed it by responding to me with insults and ad hominen arguments, which they have not made to counter my problems with this story. There he also shows his lack of intelligence, even when criticizing. At no time did I attack the author, only the story and nothing else. That these little snowflakes take as if it were a kind of crime, punishable by death.
Antifa are the shit that fascist, both use violence to make use of their demands.
Anglo-Saxons, they are the majority of countries in North America, where English is spoken. I am from the south. Now I'm not just a "bad person" also a troll, because a scum like you dictates, if it is clear, that everything they said about the crap of their laws, about "freedom of expression" were lies.Anglo-Saxons, they are the majority of countries in North America, where English is spoken. thanks for showing me that you're literally copy/pasting out of google translate!
and thanks for leaving truly the "too long; don't read" of comments, my dude. you're a bad person for attacking a stranger's story with no provocation and for no reason other than that you think it makes you feel good, your comments and your ideas are incomprehensible, and you're engaging with me, a stranger on the internet, to try to make yourself feel superior when you've completely stepped in it.
you attacked someone, and then when others came back in their defense, you proved you can't actually handle it when it comes back at you. this is all a huge self-own, my dude. hope you realise that.

I loved everything about this story except for the Emily storyline. That seemed so unlike Steve to just let go of Nat like that because she didn't feel like having sex with him and go randomly sleep with someone else after knowing them for an hour, and stay with that person for years despite loving Nat. It's just such a typical, guy thing to do. He didn't even fight for her

The title should go for "the best macho part of me", it suits him well. Poor Natasha, she deserved better here

this was so good and i'm so happy he and natasha got their happy ending (and with a twist of the two of them hiding in another time). steve calling nat n'tasha was such a cute addition i loved that. the intimacy between the two of them was so soft in the moments where they were being close with each other. natasha throwing herself into her work and steve finding a relationship with emily was so heartbreaking but the three of them were also very soberingly self-aware and i loved that. it made it feel so real to me.
sam/bucky in there as a side ship was also so amazing too

Steve and Natasha have a lot of chemistry together in the films and you capitalize on that so well. I'd like to think they were together while they were on the run and in hiding so they had some good times while being hunted.
It's sad that the Snap tears them apart, but I get why Steve moved out and moved on. He gave Natasha exactly what she asked for and I'm glad he found a good friend and lover in Emily.
I'm very thrilled that we got a good explanation for who Steve grew old with that wasn't him going back into the past and ignoring all the shit that he'd have to in order to not mess up the timeline!
Very well done!

When feminists complain that men are mere males who abandon their women for others, just to satisfy themselves. And there are stories like these, which serve as examples for those crazy women with painted hair, to be as misandric as possible and to hate men. These kinds of stories just exemplified that. My hatred for the Steve Rogers in this story makes me agree with them, for once. Poor Natasha, she got the leftovers of Steve's "love", who was a mere object for him, and then Steve kidnapped her from her timeline to forcibly take her back to the 1940s. No chance, to see her Avenger again , Clint, Laura, her nephews, and even her sister Yelena. She is a character without dignity or agency, moved by the force of the plot that is Steve's cock. Which is something denigrating and misogynistic.

Moral of the story, if the "love of your life" does not give you sex, leave her without telling her where you are going, and have sex with the first woman you meet for less than a day. That is the moral that the "men" of today, we must "follow."

The dialogue is really good. You get the characters and what they're going through really well. Thank you for writing this.

I love post-Endgame stories! The fact that Steve didn't want to tell Sam about who he was with opens up so many delightful time traveling and multiverse shenanigans options. It makes a lot of sense that he couldn't return to the present with her even if he wanted to. After all, how would that affect her sacrifice for the Soul Stone in the first place? And I can't imagine the TVA and Kang would have let that go down anyway. At least in your fic Natasha got to live a happy life after her sacrifice.
I really appreciate that your story dealt with how grief and loss affect people differently. It makes sense that Steve needed to feel close to someone while Natasha needed space when they had both gone through such a hugely traumatic event. They couldn't be what each other needed and were both mature enough to realize that. And it's good to see that Steve let himself try to move on and Natasha supported that. And it's clear that Emily was well aware of what she was getting into. Sometimes we need different people in our lives for different things, but eventually, they found their way back to each other.
Thanks for writing an interesting take on how Natasha could have survived and who Steve spent his life with. <3
