The absolutely beautiful ending to Peter Jackson's Tolkien movie. Billy Boyd's sweet voice singing The Last Goodbye. I cannot watch it without weeping. These movies saved my life in ways I could never have dreamed. They brought me the people who became my family and who saved my life in my darkest hours. I may have other fandoms but none will ever mean what Tolkien has to me.

Amen to that. Tolkien has been transforming for me too, in so many ways.
