PIMPING a Community
I plan on getting an update done either today or by next Friday but I thought I'd use mod's privilege and pimp a little group I run.
For several months, I've been running a little writing community here on LJ called Drabble Challenge. This community posts 2 pictures every month and you may write up to 5 100 word drabbles using either or both of the pictures. We've been pretty quiet there of late so I thought I'd pimp it up here and there. We'd love to have more members from any fandom at all!
Drabbles are a good way to practice writing. You learn control and discipline in writing and the importance of saying what you mean in an understandable way. Writing them is like doing a word puzzle as well. I highly recommend writing drabbles as a writing exercise. Sometimes full grown bunnies grow from tiny little drabbles too!
