Day Four
I am soo tired and all I did was dig up some weeds and rake the tiny garden! I planted a few tomato seeds in some pots and a few onions in the bed and I am wiped out!
I wish I had my mother's green thumb but I don't. I am not awful at growing stuff but more hit and miss. One year we have great tomatoes and the next, bleh ones. We usually grow from plants and sometimes the plants are not as good as other years. Oddly enough, the plants from Walmart last year did better than the ones from a nursery.
I can, however, grow azaleas. Mine are like monsters, some of them 6 feet high or more. Almost all of them are a deep pink color. If the rains haven't ruined them, I'll put up a picture tomorrow. If the rains have, I'll put up a photo from another year.
We were both so tired we ate frozen pizza for dinner as neither of us wanted to cook. Larry has been unsuccessfully trying to get the lawn mower to work for 2 days. We can't afford a new one so we need this one fixed!
NOw I'm going to lie on the couch and read another Rogue Angel Book.
