Its cold here this morning... 60 degrees. I suppose we are getting the front of Charley and the cold front thats been hanging about for several days. It reminds me of August weather when I was a kid. Sometimes there would be an August hurricane somewhere south of us and we'd get rain for a week or so. I loved it. It was like a vacation. I grew up on a farm and in the summer, we worked every day unless it rained so it was easy to learn to love a rainy day.
I do not love rain quite as much as the elf in the story I posted today though...*grin*
I hope to get Celebrimbor/Celeborn done this weekend so I can get started on the next chapter of A Tangled Web. The worlds of King Arthur and Alexander call to me... the neat Olympic Opening didn't help. I loved it. Talk about your drama queens. Loved the walk through Greek history in living statues though they would have been a bit cooler naked!
Sara went back to shcool this week. It's obscene to go back so early. Oh well, tow years and she'll be through... EEEKKK!
Looks like our coast is being battered mostly by rain from Charley.. We had a hurricane here, 250 miles inland in 1989. Hugo. It came through with high winds and rains and lots of people were out of electricity for a week or more. I even know one lady who died later from injuries from the storm. The weather is not something to fuck around with. *Shiver*
Well, I have a dirty house to clean and some elves to play with I'd better stop rambling.
