LIKE STRAWBERRY FOR CHOCOLATE
Walter Bishop was sitting in front of the television. He wasn’t watching it though. He was tasting of five strawberry milkshakes lined up in front of him. He picked each one up and drank from it then put it back and reached for the next one.
He yelled for Astrid. “Astroturf? Do we have more vanilla flavoring?”
Astrid was working at her computer, searching through some old records for Peter. “You drank it all the other day when you wanted to see how drunk it would make you.”
“Oh. Do we have some rum then?”
“No, Walter. You drank it all when you found out it was ‘talk like a pirate’ day.”
“It didn’t work either. Hmmm, well, I guess a little LSD would do.”
“Do for what, Walter?” She tried to keep the drugs away from him as much as possible though she wasn’t always successful.
“I want a chocolate shake and all I have are strawberry ones so I thought maybe alcohol or drugs might make me think they’re chocolate.”
Astrid sighed then got their coats. “Come on, Walter. Let’s go to the ice cream shop and get you a chocolate shake.”
Walter smiled. “That would work too.”
