VANITY, THY NAME IS HOLMES
“Watson, are you writing more of those dreadful stories?”
I smiled to myself. He complained and said that I fabricated too much the stories that they’ve been printing in the paper but I know that Holmes is really rather pleased with his newfound fame.
He says he’s not vain but I think he lies. He does have a few human failings and vanity is one along with pride, but that one goes without saying.
I saw him reading one of my stories the other day and saw a small smile on his face as he did so.
What a liar!
