This is one of my favorite Alexander stories - taken from historical accounts, not movie or book verse.

Author’s Note: Alexander was 13 or so when the story begins in 343, BC. As far as I know, the dates are accurate. I do not know if he and Hephaestion became lovers at around 15 as I have indicated, but it too seems reasonable. It is said he killed his first man at the age of 12 so I think that making him a lover as well as soldier as a teen is reasonable and probable.
This is not Movie Alexander nor is it Renault's Alexander.

Summary: Alexander looks back on the love of his life.
