Song lyrics in honor of Election Day
I am a Parrothead... no, I'm not a drunken lawyer who wears her Hawaaian shirt to see Buffett cuz he's who I listened to when I was drunk in college. I'm a Parrothead who fell in love with the odd young man who sang "Come Monday" waaaayyyyy back in the early 70s.
In honor of election day, I'm giving you all a song. It's not about the election but about a guy who goes to sit a relative's still while the relative goes to vote. It is a song that Buffett does not sing in concert because the family of the man who wrote will not allow it.
In awhile, I too shall vote. Whee! Been doing so since 1978, don't see a reason to stop now even though the actual choices are ridiculous. Have a good one... and remember, vote early and vote often! :)
