Stuff and junk

I went to see King Arthur, fully prepared to hate it. I guess it would help to know that I have been majorly in love with the Once and Future King for most of my life.

Anyhow, a few weeks ago, I saw this lovely special on the History Channel about speculation about the truth of the King Arhtur legands. One of the theories was that he was a Roman...
The movie used this theory and placed him against the invading Saxons. The actor who played Arthur was very handsome and made a very noble Arthur. The knights were an odd lot... conscripts who had been taken as very young boys to serve Rome as soldiers. Lancelot I guess was supposed to be focal point but personally, I liked Arthur. Guinevere was the daughter of Merlin, who was a native Breton...a druid perhaps. She made a decent warrior.

I managed to cry anyhow, so that means it was pretty good.

I have been very ... ambivalent about being online at all these days. Odd things are afoot that I don't completely understand.

I finally got through my mailbox this morning, though I do have a bunch of replies to make. There are some pretty good fics being posted at LAF these days.

I have been reading Marnie too... she writes lovely Celeborn fic. Of course, he is my favorite elf too!

I got another original fic bunny... this one could actually be a long fic. I ran it by a few people and ran the ending by Sara...she is a pretty good plot consultant. I need to get to work on it and the other two.

Anyone out there know any good Celebrimbor fic... besides Tyellas and Larian's short fic? If so... feel free to point me there!
