Sad news
Saundra Armstrong - known in the Tolkien fandom as Orchyd Constyne and also as peachesandjasmine and stormmoonpress - passed away sometime on September 30th in her sleep at her home in Florida.
Saundra had quite a few health problems but I don't think anyone knew she was in imminent danger. Saundra wrote fanfiction and original fiction which she published at Storm Moon Press. She made lovely jewelry and and was an excellent cook. I ordered homemade marshmallows from her several times. In the last few years, she had developed Psoriatic Arthritis and wasn't able to do much any more.
She us survived by her husband Roger, her partner Kris Piet, her mother and brother and a bunch of beloved pets. She was 39 years old.
